Apik Forum in academia was established in 2021 with the aim of reducing the "stubborn gender gap" in universities, and to equalize the number of female researchers in the academic staff and the number of them in key positions in research universities in Israel. In addition, the forum works to shape policy and change decision-making processes in academic institutions.
